That day out sounds like perfection!poppykettlehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05089242289854891320noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-842256111212276773.post-51121423416343489912016-02-02T23:33:37.621+11:002016-02-02T23:33:37.621+11:00This is a great little skirt, I'm sure you'...This is a great little skirt, I'm sure you'll get a lot of wear out of it! Those fly instructions are a shocker, aren't they, but I can't see anything messy going on in the front of your skirt so it obviously turned out fine anyway.

Ah yes, I sympathise with you on the photo front. When I used to ask my partner to take photos for me he'd just snap one, and walk off, usually before I was even readyn. I remember getting a second photo once when I was able to prove I had my eyes closed in the first one :(. If you look around you should be able to pick up a cheap tripod and remote - they're absolutely worth it! My first tripod was only $20 (it was a good height but very lightweight) and its replacement was $60, and I think the remote for my camera was around $30 or less.

I'm really pleased to hear you've got your sewing mojo back and I hope you find plenty of time to sew up your lovely new fabrics!
Gabriellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06178734550537562868noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-842256111212276773.post-90242771069598414312016-01-23T19:00:36.749+11:002016-01-23T19:00:36.749+11:00A cute little black skirt is such a great thing to...A cute little black skirt is such a great thing to have. I eventually used the YouTube video from The ThriftyStiticher.

I made one for my daughter. A lot of detailed effort for a skirt that really doesn't work for her. Your Moss is lovely!
